I went with a YT12A-BS (http://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/motorcycle/sYT12A-BS.html). It's actually a Hayabusa battery but it's the same size as a stock 400EX battery and has 55 more cold cranking amps. The stock battery is the YTX9-BS (http://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/motorcycle/sYTX9-BS.html).
