headlight issues

this might be a stupid question but i have never had a 400ex before but anyways its an 02 and can someone please tell me how the dang headlights stay in the sockets, i mean idk if im missing something or not but i have figured out that the bulb has to press down the spring in order for the lights to come on but how to you keep it compressed down and stayin in

It works like any other bulb works. Just push it down, give it a little twist and it should stay in there for ya.
