weird idle

ya ya i know its a bike but i got a 97 cr250r and it idles like a rotory engine it runs great revs fine just up n down up n down and not all the time only sometimes cuming down a hill with the clutch in or after a alil riding its not like big revs up and down like its hunting but i just dont know its my first big bike so im not on it like crazy so could it be loading up . let me know with any idea's

Is it looping... idling up and down when warm/hot? If I'm reading this right it sounds like it acts funny when hot but not cold. Check around the carb for a leak... spray some carb cleaner around the boots, might be loose or cracked. Good luck, hope this helps you a bit, Matt
