Fmf Q4 will probably be the quietest one you can get without a core. that is around 90 dB's. the rest are mostly 95 and up w/o a qc. sparks, hmf, supertrapp, white bros e series with a bunch of plates, and a couple of others can be around 97-99 dB's. heres the dB chart from dirt wheels test from years ago. most are still around, but there are a bunch of new ones that are not on there such as the lexx, Q4, looney tuned duals, and some others. If you are looking for a quiet exhaust spend the money and get a Q4. I have been heavily weighing the purchase myself in case the roads around my house get opened up to atvs. I dont want to get the neighbors mad even though i am legal at 95 dBs. I dont want to get hassled with it or even think about it. I wont be riding fast but it is the principle of not ruining it once we finally get to ride on to the trails instead of trailering 3 miles. lol. steve

i have a supertrapp that i cut the back off of just enought so the endcap touches all 22 plates. it quieted it down a tiny bit but not very noticeable, has a nice deep throaty sound though. too loud for sound restrictions. it is around 98db instead of 104db, adds some good power though, worth the sound to me. though id rather it be quieter.

i paid $50 for mine used off a local family owned shop (my 1st cuz) but they didnt want to get less than 50 for it. you can probably get one for 100 or so on ebay. a good exhaust i would recommend is a white bros e-series they add some good power and with all 12 plates they arent too loud.

From my past experiences, supertrapps arent the best quality exhausts. I have a jardine and its loud and powerful but you wont be finding it anywhere anymore so don't need to worry about its loudness.

I don't know if i'd say it's quiet unless you're talking about with the spark arrestor in.

I removed my spark arrestor and this pipe is loud! I've actually modded a tip using the spark arrestor plate. I just cut the spark arrestor off but still installed the plate portion of it, it's a good sound.

you can buy tuneable tips for this pipe too but who wants to do that!

i ran it withouth the spark arrestor for awhile though and it was LOUD!

My experiences with the White Bros. E-Series are probably different than others, but even with fresh packing I found it annoying and loud. With the disc system it was tolerable if you were directly behind the pipe, but above (rider) or beside (others riding with me) the noise was plain irritating. I had several buddies make the same observation when they were riding with me. I've since replaced the White Bros. with a Lexx and have been very happy.

you must have your spark arrestor in the lexx pipe then? Seriously if you run the lexx with no tip it's loud as sin!

I bought this muffler I hope I am happy with it. Noise is not a concern for me. I actually like a loud exhaust.
