You will be a lot happier with the CCP puck style over the PEP stick style stabilizer. It's a decent upgrade IMO.

Burgard has stems with the anti-vibe clamp for $200 shipped.

People usually go with aftermarket stems since they are stronger than stock ones and also come in different lengths. The anti-vibe clamps also help decrease vibration in the handlebars. I'm going to be getting a +2 Burgard here soon.

will my stock cables work with the +1 or +2 stem? or do I need to go ahead and upgrade to steel extended lines?

You might have to adjust some stuff but you'll be alright with stock lines.

thanks man, I'm about to pull the trigger on that Burgard +2" stem. One more question. Will I be able to run one of those ccp billet stabilizers with the burgard?

Shouldn't be a problem. Just let the seller know you have a Burgard stem.

Went ahead and ordered the Burgard +2" steering stem (chrome finish  ) and got the galfer +2" steel brake lines

I sent the seller of the ccp stabilizer a message to see if he has the mount for the burgard stem. Hopefully he gets back to me with the quickness!

Very excited to feel the difference these new parts will make. Hopefully it'll be a big one...
