getting ready to put my motor back together and am wonedering what would be a good starting point with my jets?

setup-

- 310 cylinder
- stock carb
- lrd pipe and silencer

Depending on compression amount, probably at least a 200 main & say 45 to 50 pilot, CEL or DGH needle middle clip groove.
When anybody guessing about jetting, aways go rich & you'll be safe.
I dought theres anybody can get you spot on with jetting, unless they live right next door to you & have the same bike. Sometimes that dont even work, because who ever it is, their engine build might be different from yours & would use different jetting.

yea that sounds about right i have a 330 and i started with 48 and 175 the 48 is good but the175 is very lean 200 might be a bit big but it will be a good place to start because rich is better than lean

thanks C-LEIGH RACING i understand you cant ask for spot on jetting i was just looking for a starting point. i appreciate all the help. i just welded up my left case and got them painted last night at work. going now to pick up my bearings and hoping to have it running by saturday. i have a harescramble race on sunday i want to try and run in.
