washed my z, won't run

This is the third time it has not run right after washing it. so far i've had to wait days for it to dry. anyone know what gets wet that causes it not to run? i held a hairdryer to the cdi area and the coil for a while and it didn't help. tried hosing every connector down with wd40 and that didn't help either. any ideas? thx in advance

Check you spark plug. See if any water got in there.

yea my buddy has this problem sometimes, there is a hole in the side of the jug that is suppose to let water drain so the plug doesnt get soaked and sometimes it gets plugged with dirt/sand w/e.

Run a light bead of silicon RTV around the boot of the spark plug. That will usually keep the water out.
