crank bearings/crank

Anyone know how long the bottom end will last under racing conditions with the motor modified? I have heard to rebuild every 20 hours or your looking for trouble. Any info on how long you guys are seeing them last would be good to know. Thanks.

I had a honda crank go out at 38 hours, I replace every 25-30 on the honda. I would assume about the same on the DS.

I just had my crank bearing go out after having a major engine build completed. I had ZERO hours on the engine build and it was not detected until we went to dyno tune it. Luckily it was caught before my motor grenaded. The unfortunate thing was that it took out my cases and ultimately cost me some serious coin to get it replaced. This was on an 09 DS 450 x MX with approximately 30 hours on it with the BRP racers kits.
