Thats what Im wanting to know. There is a 300ex swinger on craigslist for $20.00 . I might pick it up for the hell of it and give it a try.

I wanna see too...... just so happens we have a 300ex swinger laying around and another TRX90 thats beggin for a swinger upgrade :devil:

that is going to be a hard conversion, the 300 swing arm is 1 inch wider then the frame mounting points, so either the frame will have to be widened to fit, or the entire swing arm will have to be taken apart, narrowed and re-welded perfectly for it to work.

Why rewelded? Couldnt we just shave the front tube to allow it to fit but still keep the chain alignment?

I just need a swinger that provides 5-6 in. travel. We dont jump, we spend too much time hitting tree's.lol

There is not enough room to shave 1/2 inch off from both sides of the front tube before you get into the side rails, you also need the length inside for the pivot bearings to fit with the spacers.
