I've been watching flea bay for a good deal on a powervalve or big bore cylinder; if I can find a killer deal, I may pick one up to re-assemble my motor with when I replace bearings and seals in bottom end.

There's a LRD powervalve cylinder on ebay right now from a seller who can't spell too well and doesn't seem to know many details about what he has. It's listed as a 250cc, but the only PV cylinder I've ever seen of LRD's is the 300 nikasil. I asked him to verify the diameter and bore condition. His reply was "52.50mm and bore good".

Either I'm really missing something, or the seller is sorely mistaken on his bore size. Were there any other cc's offered than the 300? Were they all plated bores?

Thanks!

LRD built 265s, 300s and 350s in PV cylinders. I've got a 265 and a 350.

Yeah, you are right- I forgot about the 350, but didn't know they made a 265 as well.

I've also got a 265pv and 350pv from LRD. Both from an old pro who was sponsored by LRD.

You didnt expect those nigerians to understand completely what you were asking did you, might have been one of them english deals.

Haha damn nigerians...getcha everytime with those ebay scams! Seriously though, I think it's on the up and up. Doubt I'll bid on it though; if someone doesn't have the time to clearly explain and describe what they're selling...or at least make an effort, then I don't have time to spend my money on it.

A new one them scamsters got going with motorhomes, plenty of pics & long discription of the coach & unbeleavable price, but they are in the military & its stored in a wearhouse, so you'll need to wire a money order & then drive out to pic it up. Yea right.

Some of them are smart enough to know where your from, like if you reply to their add with questions. If your to close to the unit, they dont respond back.
