i got a new stock bore piston for free online a while back but don't think the guy gave me what year it came out of. i put it in it turned over just fine without a cylinder on but when i put my cylinder on it will turn over so far and lock up. it's not the timing chain knoted up on the bottom sprocket either i already checked that. i thought if it turned over without hitting the crank before the cylinder was put on and it did fit in the cylinder that it couldn't be an 06 and up piston. but what else could it be? the motor turns over fine without a cylinder. could it be crooked in the cylinder?
