thought I would post some info on 460 stroker for those who may want more specific info. I recently found that ex cases are not adequate for big bores some may need modifying ,so measure the out side of the cylinder then check the cases where the cylinder mates up with calipers you need .020

more pics, the highlighted spot is where I had to take .015 out of the case because its not completely round(looking down at crank which is taped off to keep shaving out of the case

head before install of GT Thunder hd head bolts , the holes have to be opened up a bit for the 2 dowells that fit on the studs

the other hole. The sleeve actually overlaps the stud holes because of the bigger bore

Sort of an off the wall question, but in some of the pictures it appeared the jug was painted flat black, how did that work out for you?

Alright cool. The reason I'm asking is because I got an appointment for the powdercoater here locally, but he has a two week back up. It'll be my turn sometime this week. I have the bottom end of my engine, so doing the clutch covers should be no problem, but I won't get the jug back from the builder for another week or so. So I might have to paint it black to match.

My only worry is that gas would get on the paint and dissolve it.
