Neutral??

So my neutral seems to be getting hard to find lately. Especially when its hot. Normally it goes in fine but it seems that after riding a while I cant find it so easy. Is this a bad sign?

Does it help if u give it a little throttle while clicking it into neutral?
If so the basket could be grooved.

Or the clutch cable is adjusted wrong.

Mine was doing the same thing, It would not find neutral when the bike was running. But I could click it in neutral when I shut it off. The cable was adjusted right so I bought a new clutch pack (steel and fibers) for it. When I pulled out the old one out it was definately worn out but the basket was just fine. After I installed the new clutch kit it worked perfect. I'd say your plates and fibers are just due to be replaced.

Yeah definately could be time for a replacement by now. I will go ahead and adjust the cable a little bit just to see, but bet your right, time for new plates.
