View Full Version : Trevorton Fish Head ??? wtf???

So we are riding some trails in Trevorton today, and hanging alongside the trail is a HUGE and I'm talking HUGE fish head hanging in the tree! It's probably about 18" to 2 feet in diameter. Really, riding along in the middle of coal country, what are the chances of seeing a giant fish head hanging in the tree -- apparently pretty good up there! lol

I've heard there are some big fish in the quarries up there, but if you put a body on this head, it had to be 6 foot long...

Anyone know the story on this thing? or better yet, what kind of fish it is? ( I tried to attach a picture, but the file was too big.)

It's just weird.... :confused:

might be a Striped Bass, the record is about 54lbs in PA, but wow that is crazy to see

:eek2: weirdest thing i've seen was a black deer in southern oklahoma. Another group of people seen it also.

Naw carp have lil mouths. They have bottom feeder type mouths

heres a pic of one of the record striped bass from PA, It's almost 54 lbs., thats why I think this could be the pinata:devil:

That looks like it could be the most reasonable possibility, lol

It's still freakish! It definitely looked like something from Wrong Turn! :scary:

when I saw the first pic I said it was a tarpon but the second pic threw me for a loop. hmmm.
