piston and bore question?

i had bored out my 400ex .02 and put a HC oiston it it but i was jw, do u need to jet it after you do tht??

you can search this and it'll save the trouble of posting another thread. but some people say that you have to rejet, but my jetting is the same it was before i bored it to a 416

you do and get a 450 carb, they are hard to fine tune

no i didn't rejet, i didn't need to.

my motor mods are:

87mm(416) 11:1
Hotcam stg 2
ground header welds
white bro.s slip-on
open airbox w/k&n
choke removed in carb

with those mods, i'm running a 42 pilot, 150 main, a/f screw 2 1/4 turns out, and needle on 2nd clip from the top. that's the same jetting i was running before i bored it and put a cam in it. Keep in mind that i run this jetting year-round, so it's spot on in the winter and a little rich in the summer.
