Anybody ever try Neffy Wrap? It's a carbon fiber cloth. I wrapped my stock hood with it and wanted to know your opinion's. After I wrapped it I sprayed just 1 coat of clear to see what it would look like. It's not glass smooth like say a QT hood but it doesn't look bad to me and will prob get better the more coats of clear i apply. let me know what you think.

Also did the Chevy emblem on my 2500 HD. Didn't clear it so you can see the difference.

sweet how much is it for what amount, is it sticky on one side like a sticker or what? i like it and would clear it with auto clear out of a spray gun then sand and buff it to make it like glass...

No it's not sticky. You can buy a kit that comes with 3sq yards of fabric and a can of spray adhesive for around $75 but i think it would be cheaper to just buy the fabric by itself for $35 and go to walmart and pick up some 3M spray adhesive.

The fabric itself is sold by the yard. Also comes in silver too.

Looks great to me. I might try some of this stuff, not sure on what yet...

Also did some searching and Di-Noc is another alternative, with more options... Di-NOC (http://www.idsfinishes.com/auto.html)

i am really interested in trying to wrap my plastics in this. im just worried how it will look after riding in mud? it says water proof but i dont want to wrap all of my plastics than look like crap after the first ride in mud.

I've been thinking the same thing. I've got a set of old OEM's I might try, plus an old hood for my 450. I'd suggest trying it on an old OEM hood or something small and see what you think. You can by a 12"X48" DINOC for 25 bucks on ebay...

From what I've read this stuff is as durable as automotive paint, some of the auto-forums mentioned this... from similar concerns. There is some youtube videos as well, just search DINOC or Neffy Wrap.

Like I said I wrapped my Chevy emblem in it and it has rained for like 3 days and is still holding up. I know it's nothing compared to what your gonna go thru on the trails or track but so far it's def waterproof.
