450r pilot jet size

hey all you guys with the 450r carbs , what pilot size you guys running ???

oh by the way 440 kit stage 3 cam is whats in her , have a 200 main but she is running a little rich have no idea what the pilot is , just craps out after she heats up if i turn it off then back on so i wanna drop a size or to in the pilot just wanna see what you guys are running

yeah i think the one in mine is just stock , the previous owner put it on her , i think stock is 48 pilot??? but not sure tell i pull it out , whatever it is i plan on going down a couple sizes and putting my main at 195 was fouling a plug every weekend trip to the dunes with the 200 .

Series 26 size 52 pilot.

Mine is also a series 26. The 26 is actually a bit longer than the stock one on the end but it works good. I tried a 50 and it still had a bit of a lean pop to it. steve

so you guys both running the 26 series size 52 pilot?? does anybody know what the stock 450 pilot is , i need to go down a size or two from it , that way when im riding i dont have to worry about her crapping out if i turn her off for 5 min .

Stock is a 48. Does anyone know what the actual model of main is for these carbs? I am going to get a 178 and try it out since my plug was just a tad on the black side when i checked it out yesterday. Although i did start it on that plug so it may be a bit black from that too. lol. Steve
