dirt bike cam in atv

Was at the drag race and a guy told me i could get a oem dirt bike cam and put it in my trx 450er a after market pipe and a jet kit and my 4 wheeler will run a whole lot better. He said make sure it is the same year model. what's the diffrence in the cams?

it dosnt have to be the same year alot of ppl use the 02 crf cam....but for drag racing there are better options like a stage 3 hotcm.....web cam....crower...just do a little research and check out your options

I ran the 03 crf cam. Worked great in my 07 450r

everything you ever need to know about 450r cam's. i used the 02 CRF for MX and like it, good bottom and mid but falls out on top end, i just switched to the 04-05 HRC and its crazy up top but next to nothing down low. all depends on what kind of riding you do
