Parts?

Just wondering where you guy's find your o.e.m parts? I was on yamahaoftroy and they want 212 per piece for ball joints!! Is there any cheaper places to get ball joints and other parts?

There has to be a car that has tie rod ends or something that are like these, I've heard vw beetles but I'm not sure on the year you'd need? I guess I could just take them to the autoparts and have them match something up? Just trying to figure it out before I go out and get some parts, I'm so damn close to getting this thing ready to ride, I have to weld the frame back together (cracked top tubes) gusset, new chain/sprockets, brake pads front and rear and I might have to rebuild the rear brake cailber it seems like the mofo is locked up for some reason..

I've also heard of people running the lt250r ball joints because they are cheaper?

Here's where I broke the frame (paint missing area) I wanted to strip it down and repaint the frame anyways but it's kinda cool still having the o.e.m red from 86 on it, it's looking a little shotty though

I have big bars on it now with a stock tank, (not pictured) as soon as I put my risers and bars on the damn bars hit my ims tank.. :(

212 for ball joints????? wow are you sure it wasnt for the later years, where you have to buy the whole a arm assembly?

4 ball joints would cost you 848, ha you could buy any aftermarket a arms you wanted for that...

ah I stand corrected I was wore the hell out last night looking at this stuff at 2am lol.. It's cheaper then that but still!

the ball joints listed above will work but will need to be flatened on two sides in order to use thyem on the stock upper arms.
