problems with 450r carb choke..need some help!

How do you get the choke to work with the 450r carb install? It rests against the pitcock on the tank and I dont know what to do.

what year did it come off of i have one off a 06 its a flat slid its better than the 04-05 vac style

Its an 05 450r carb..will the lever on the 06 carb work on the 05 carb? Thanks

the carbs are not the same it has the pull choke like on a bike go to ebay or bike bandit .com look the to up you will see but the 06 is like having the edelbrock carb same set up

I took my lever off(actually it broke lol) since it is tough to use even with it trimmed to fit. Usually the end is cut off of them to have the straight lever then it fits i guess. When i needed to use my choke i would just take my seat off and lift the plunger up and start it up with that till it runs. if you give it a few pumps it should fire up anyway without the choke. steve
