stained for LIFE????

my exhaust has like sut on it stained on the one side and i cant get it off. how do i get the stain off?

acid and a power washer would be about the only way to get it off or maybe some super clean and some major scrubbing. you could sand it down also but it will start to rust most likely. steve

try some mothers alum polish. worked on mine but it was very minor

:huh to a nice aluminum finish, not the stock piece of crap on there but a high quality piece of epuipment, lol. if its aluminum id get some mothers aluminum polish and lots of elbow grease, if that fails get some acid and a pressure washer. acid works wonders just dont use it too often or it will turn the metal an off white

Get some Noxon Metal Polish, it'll get rid of any carbon build up.

Steel wool work good. Use the 000 or 0000 wool.

u could do like we do on the oil rigs.... kerosene, sand and salt. all equal parts, that takes burnt crude oil off the deck. i think it will take about anything off. lol but yea at home castrol super clean, or gasoline on a rag if its real oily or something.
