After many seasons kept put away in oiled rags, I decided it was time to get the ole girl out and put her back together. A few long nights in the garage and the cry of my R rang back into my ears. Yeah I write about my R as a father would of his childern, as this is the only thing that has stayed with me the longest and never let me down. Brought back many memories that have faded or been forgotten, some good and bad, some funny and some sad. Gonna take a few days to tune her back into the fire breather she once was, but I got time. Being on a four stroke for so long has made me too relaxed in my riding style, so this will change that. She's an 86 with some goodies, not the prettiest, but she's an R. Post some pics up here soon to see what you guys think. Some of my oil rags that I had some of the parts in dried out so I gotta clean some of the rusty stuff up or replace. But she lives and glad she's back. :devil:
