Is CR Ignition that much better?

Hello all, I am finishing the build on my 89, and before I took it apart I remember having a few issues with spark... I want to do it right, should I buy the CR ignition from ESR? Does anyone have one that they want to sell? PM me if you want to sell one.

Yes they are very good and change the bike into a pure animal ,truly worth the money in my opinion :blah:

Let me put it to you this way, its the best upgrade you can buy. I got my whole setup for a good deal, but even if I had to pay full price.........its WELL worth it. It almost makes your 250R feel like the port timing has been changed.

all you put on is the ignition? do you have to swap out anything else?? what year is good to use?

X 10. You wont beleive the difference. 2001 cr 250 is the year and model ESR sells. They include everything you need, but you can not run lights with this setup, unless you go to Ricky Stator, or Steahly fly wheels for a different stator, that can run lights.
