My 08 LTR limited edition came stock with one, it's pretty nice. I don't find myself sliding across the seat, ever.

I find that armor-all type wipes or spray works best. Sure the seat gets a little bit slick, but after riding it for about 10 minutes it goes grippy again haha. I usually use the leather cleaner, just spray some on a rag, wipe it down, let it dry, and you're good to go.

its like riding a whole new quad when you put a gripper on. I hate riding without one.

I got a gripper last year and I absolutely love the thing. Check out this company that one of the other members recommended to me. They are all custom made based on what you want. Got the carbon fiber sides with the gripper top. Thing is excellent quality and no issues with cleaning it. Had my order in 4 days I think. I'll post a pic shortly.

They're essential, especially once you get used to riding with one. No more sliding your butt all over the place when slamming through puddles and mud. They will collect a bit of mud due to the grip but most of the time will clean off with your can touching the seat and even muddy, they still grip better than a slippery stocker. You will not regret the investment. How's that seat cover holding up Les Davis, looking for a new black seat cover?

Smoker, I've got a year on that seat cover and it still looks brand new. I'm really impressed with the quality. Had a One Industries before that and it didnt even make it through half a season.
