If memory serves a class 1 is rated around 2000 pounds
gross trailer weight.
2000...how does that work, i mean pulling weight or hitch weight? not going to be hauling much inside , at most the weight of a quad, i want to basically haul handle bars, a arms and stuff, to display at the races... i just want it enclosed, size is not too important

it means that the total weight of the trailer and its contents should be 2000 pounds or less.
somebody correct me if im wrong. i have been known to sleep type haha
hmm the 4x6 or 4x8 says 2000lb single axle.... is that the rating im looking for?

THat's the weight the trailer will handle loaded plus the weight of the trailer and that's the rating of your hitch, so I'd say that'd be a good start! You need to know how much the trailer weighs.
