We're running 8x8's and they're pretty big. I remember double trouble had some pretty big rims on his kids bikes but he hasn't been heard from in months :ermm: . Check the 2nd page of this thread. http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=388965&highlight=tires+wheels

I run 9x8 on my 400EX and couldn't imagine running them on the Typhoon. That's a lot of mass to rotate. We also have 8x8 with 18" tires and you can tell a huge difference in those and the stock tires.

So you guys think the 8x8 rim with a 18 inch tire is the best way to go I have a 140cc in it now but i am go to put a 200cc monster in it lol I just put on the 300ex front shocks and man that is a lot better but they are way more springy than the stock but ill get some really nice shocks after i get a pair of those sweet *** A-arms Lew is making

Not if you have the motor to pull them. With the stock tires we get too much wheelspin. Looks good for Jam to throw the roost but the bike is accelerating less. With the bigger setup we have it's intant traction and alot less slide.

hey rob,
been busy the last few months the boys are still riding, and your correct i'm running 9 inch rims with 18inch tires they work great still running stock motors. I recently went back to two wheels and first ride out put it down hard and broke some ribs so I haven't been able to get out riding for awhile. I'll try to load some pics of boys bikes
