400ex Curtis Sparks Full exhaust

I acquired this Curtis Sparks full exhaust (x6 I think) in a purchase of a motorcycle for my son a couple week's ago. I don't know anything about this exhaust except that it does not have the spark arrestor or quiet insert. We ride in the mountains and noise is an issue. I know after looking at their website that this exhaust sells new for over 550.00. I have a stock 07 400ex. I would be willing to sell this for the price of a good slip-on.(FMF, HMF, etc..) or a set of 450r stock front shocks (prefer 07 or newer) If anyone has one to trade, I would be interested. I think 250 or there about would be fair. I am looking for a slip-on so thats my target value. I dont need more than what a slip on would run me. I priced the fmf q4 ( I think) at 235.00. I am willing to adjust as necessary. I dont know alot about these systems but I think getting a full exhaust for the price of a slip on is reasonable. Thanks for your interest.

I want those who are interested to know that I do not know anything about this exhaust. I have never mounted it to my quad. I still have stock everything. All I can tell you is that the gentleman that I got my sons crf100 from was into quads himself. he runs a highly modified 450r. I asked if he had anything left over from his 400ex that he sold just a week prior. He told me he had this Curtis sparks exhaust that he had no use for anymore. It does not have a spark arrestor and is loud from what he told me. It is just as I acquired it. I am looking for a slip-on that is forest approved and sound compliant (I think that to be mid 90's) I live in California and am willing to ship. Please see pics and judge from them as I never mounted the pipe. Looking at the pipe (although I never cleaned the pipe) it looks to be in good condition. I need to point out that there is some chrome coming off the end cap on the rear of the pipe and the lower mount is indented in the pipe. I do not know if it is supposed to be that way or not. As I was looking at my quad, I came to the realization that I need stock 450r front shocks. preferably 07 and newer...but if anyone has a pair they would be interested in trading, let me know. Thanks again for all who responded.

As for a price, I am looking to get a slip-on or a set of stock Honda 450r shocks. I think the ballpark of 250 plus shipping would be reasonable. This is a full Curtis sparks exhaust for the price of a descent slip-on or used front shocks. After researching the exhaust, I have found in this forum that the Curtis Sparks exhaust is one of the top 2 to 3 exhausts. I know its by opinion, but that's what I've read. I have no use for this exhaust as it is loud and not legal on California public lands. I ride with my wife and two sons. Thanks for your interest

Yes I do. I have been talking to a couple people that are interested but nothing has been done yet, The more research I do, the more I'm coming to the realization that its gonna be hard for me to find a pipe that meets my needs. (family riding in public land...spark arrested, and at or below 96db, and a descent pipe) I am leaning towards looking for stock 450r front shocks. Sorry for the long winded reply, YES I still have the exhaust.
