heers some pics of my finally finished skidplate setup for my 400ex. gots 450r rear brake, LSR sprocket guard, made a custom thin steel skidplate to bolt on first, then I got a GT Thunder 450r skid plate/rotor guard bolted onto my little skid plate I made (thats the reason for the extra skidplate so that I could mount my 450r skid plate onto it since I dont have any mounts like a 450r swingarm). I originally wanted the thick plastic rotor guard from gt thunder, this one here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370358128757&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT , but instead they sent me a steel skidplate. and I gotta say, I wasnt to happy at first with it, but im kinda liking it now. but I will say that their ebay service is pretty slow, shipping took a week and im only 1 state away, and they didnt even contact me either about the skidplate switch.

Looks real solid. I've been wanting to flip my brothers ex up and make some cardboard templates and make one myself. I'd say yours will be there awhile.

By the way, Nice draglites on the S-10.

thanks for the comments. thats my brother's white s10 there, mine is the red one in the other pic. and im liking this gt thunder skid plate. its pretty solid and hugs up close to the brake rotor for maximum clearance. and its got some really good bracing on the bottom side so I shouldnt have to worry to much about it bending up into the rotor/chain. and the part under the chain/sprocket hangs a little lower than I wanted, but it will help keep my chain from getting too muddy when I get into the deep muddy ruts in the races. Id say later on I may get me a 06+ 450r swingarm so I can just mount it straight up.

my bike is setup pretty nice now, all thats really left is to juice up the motor a little bit.
