It was pretty cool in a way not being there.

The wife called after the start. CJ's kawi did not fire and he was last off the line. He had picked up 3 spots before they hit the woods (17 in his class)

After the first lap was scored, she called me and said he was in 3rd. Next lap, another call and he had the lead! She was a nervous wreck. She hasnt seen him race in a year or more and said he was scaring her LMAO!!!!

He ended up winning his class and finished 6th overall. Once he gets (god willing) the district championship locked, he will push it and go for an overall!

Cody put one of my cameras in dummy mode and the wife did her best:p I dont have the heart to tell her 99.5% of her shots would hit the recycle bin if they were mine but to me they are perfect since I couldnt be there!

CJ said he wasnt sure why it didnt fire, he may have hit the gas to early.

You can just see his helmet way in the back as the class heads out

Picking off the classes ahead of him.

He beat B class and the majority Vet class. Not sure how many in A class but only 2 of them were ahead of him at the end

The Yellow LTR was 2nd behind CJ. Cody said he had just passed him for the lead before coming into this section. You can see CJ in the back ground rolling out

The wife was very happy with teh race. She said it was one of the best district races she had ever been to. D7 is almost dead and we wanted to run it to hopefully bring some attention to it. If they keep up with good locations and friendly attitudes, we can get it to grow.

If anyone from the race reads this, thanks!!! The wife said the staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The only advice Cody had was to tell your chase bikes to get off the track. He came up on one and damn near had to run the guy over to get him out of his way.

I will get some pics tomorrow with his trophy.

Poog..Scott and everyone else, thanks for keeping an eye on the family for me!

He has to run c class or he would have to move up at the nationals, and this year we really arent planning on running many if any but he is fine where he is at. Hindsight, I would have put him in B and not ran any nationals this season but we had to make a decision before the first race:p Scott norton found out how closely watched you are regarding classes between locals and nationals, had his championship yanked from him!

He also had a horseshoe up his rear end. He fired the kawi up and it shut right off, blown main fuse due to wire issue thats now fixed:p

Next round is combined with the Somerset GNCCC and we have some work to do. He pretty much trashed his chassis skid along with the GT Thunder sprocket guard:p
