Hello all, new to the forum and have a question for all the old Typhoon hands.

I would like to hear about some solutions for rear brake set-ups on the Typhoons. I recently purchased a 2007 and the rear brake kept locking up. So, I'm in the process of completely disassembling the entire rear brake system and cleaning it up...not convinced I'm going to be successful. I have read elsewhere that folks just shucked the Typhoon brakes in favor of another system. Could you all please share your solutions?

Also, I know this is a pretty basic system but is there a service manual somewhere out there. I'd kinda like to know crazy things like torque specs, volumes and special procedures. Anyone seen or heard of such a thing?

Thanks in advance to all of you who take a stab at my questions.

...still learning
Carl

I've never torqued anything on Jams bike. Pretty much just secured the bolts tight and snug.
