newer plastic on older kfx400

will newer years ltz400 plastic fit on a 2005 kfx400? like 08-09? what for bracket mods would have to be done to make them fit? i guess what im trying to say is i realize thier not gonna just fall into place, so what would go into making them fit? thanks guys!

up to an 08 should fit. 09 the ltz switched over to the ltr looking fenders.

oh sorry, thats what i meant if the newer ltr lookin plastics would fit...i not sure they will or not

Im not sure..... I have to go to the shop saturday.....if they have an 09 put together I will take a peek.

Hey man it's possible for the front. You would have to make up some brackets ( they are totally different on the 09 ).
The rear would be a pain in the *** because the battery is not under the seat on the 09 so the fender is not molded for the battery like the older ltz/kfx. You would have to relocate your battery, or cut the 09 fender and make a box to hold the battery.
A bunch of work just to make some fenders fit !!!

lol yeah thats kinda what i was thinkin haha, thanks for lookin into it 4 me man! i remembered the battery being not under the seat once i thought about it, oh well, i like the way the newer plastics look! thanks again man
