NO!

polishing is easy.... on that note i should buy some jugs polish them and re-list them.

should clear them when done so they dont get dull.

not necessarly the plished jug. its a piston, rings, head reed cage and reeds with gaskets for $409. that is what i am refering too. the polished jug and head is just a bonus.

there is a 310 on ebay for less then 400$

also a complete ported stock top end for about 350$

if you hunt a good jug and head could be 100$

gasket kit is 20$

piston kit 100$

it doesnt say stock or aftermarket reed cage, prolly stock or close to it then.

to me it looks like whoever bought it was willling to pay extra for the bling factor.

Isn't a new late model jug $260 from Service Honda?

they are $375 at ESR. i believe.

but a full piston kit and gaskets makes it a value in my opinion.

Wow. Looks like they went up. Bummer. Now I can't badmouth everyone who sells a worn out, broken, "CT National" cylinder for $400 on eBay. Well, not as easily.

CYLINDER A 12100-HB9-770 001 473.98 $323.26

it is also an unported atc cylinder. i have been told the atc cylinders are better than the 86 trx. i just seen it and bought it after my cylinder sleeve cracked. the cost for a new sleeve and bore, along with piston kit was $400 anyway.

Yeah, the exhaust port is a little hotter; wider across the topand more square. But like the '86 cylinder, they're less durable, so don't run a lot of compression through it, and don't flow the transfers on either side of the intake too much.

it amazed me how the sleeve cracked straight across where it fits into the cases. i seen the gasket leaking from the exhaust side and concluded i just had a gasket failure.

it still ran good getting it out of the woods. the piston and rings were not destroyed either. im assuming excessive cykinder wear caused it.(piston slap) in addition the excessive heat from the bad gasket must of been the cause or the affect. cant be totally sure.
