Handle bar bridge cracked!

The handle bar bridge on my 525 XC cracked where the bolts go through to tighten it to the stem. I noticed that the lower bolt had loosened also. The crack is on the bottom and top of the bridge. I am curiuos if anyone else has had this problem. I don't want to replace with stock if this is going to happen again.

Hey thanks for the advice. You are right...a lot of folks had the same problem. I sent a letter to KTM and they replaced my bridge with the new part free of charge. Way to go KTM!

Only way to completely fix it, is to buy a Walsh stem & clamp.
