heres a pic of it from last year, i tore it back apart because i had the motor fwd too far and wore the front chain slide down to the swinger, im ordering a baldwin pipe tomorrow and a big ***** radiator like forum is usin on his yzf.

take it easy buddy, lol give me a week, im gonna take a lil bit of time, im gonna do some trick ***** on this one and imo, you dont need an aftermarket frame, gusset the stocker real good, and itll last a while, trust me, can break a lot of *****.

just build it on a stock ex frame for the time being, and get the walsh you was talkin about whenever its ready

yah the stock frame should last you if its gusseted. I havn't gusseted mine yet and its been through **** and back.

or if you want 250r geometry, i dont know where your from, but in the michigan auto and rv there is a 88 350r roller for 500 with swinger, spindles, axle, a-arms, stem, etc.. dont know if 450 will go in a stock r frame worth a chit or not tho

Do you have any pictures of your buddies Z400 from the side?
Looks like he has a 250R QuadTech hood on there and I would like to see what that looks like from the side.

yea that is what i was going to make my quad look liek somewhat but i think red maier will be better..

my red maier will hopefully look somewhat like this, same graphics, and black backgrounds.. whoever quad is this its nice $$:D

the 450 runs awesome in the ex frame, the b!tch of the job is trying to make the intake work, i used part of the air intake off a john deere 410 backhoe:D dont laff, it works, as for the pipe, just get a silencer you want, i used my sparks x-6, then bring it down to a muffler shop, they can bend you a mid pipe, or bend your header some, or baldwin makes a pipe, kinda pricey tho, but thats what im goin with, gotta wait on that before i start.

no, i seen east coast's conversion 450 and 400ex, and it was all cracked, chipped up pc, welded, it was horrible. dont recomend using a stock 400 frame if u decide to race, or free-x

a 400 frame will last a while, i saw east coasts conversion too, the wlds look like chicken chit. and its not gusseted properly, when im done with mine it will be sweet, i just got a new tig welder today, so i can do a nicer job on all the welds and the welds have a smaller more uniform heat effected zone, you ever see a weld break down the center? always breaks alongside, tig helps fix that if you know what your doing, hey i did learn something useful in school :p cya guys

what color should i p/c my shee? im thinkin blue frame with red a arms or red frame with blue arms. all with blue fenders and a grey tank cover then slap on some NACS graphics. you guys think that it would be blingin?
