on the drr 70 can anyone tell me what kind of fluid is used in the rear side of the cvt housing..the fluid was really low and milky..

milky usually means you got some water in there while riding or powerwashing. Drain it out, and add 4 oz of fluid. There are many differences of opinion on what to use. Some use heavy weight gear oil, some use transmission fluid. I use 30 wt 100% synthetic amsoil motor oil.

I use synthetic Transmission fluid. Low drag...... My thought is, If it can hold up to 100,000 miles in a auto tranny then it will work in the scooter engine. 2 years and no failures. knock on wood. :p

I USE MAXIMA MTL 75W BUT IT'S LIKE WATER WHEN YOU POUR IT OUT.

I use Rotella. I use it in everything .... mini quad tranny's, 250R tranny, KFX450 motor, Ford F250, lawnmower, etc. Stuff is great!LOL

we use maxima 75w works just fine its a thin oil less drag on the gears i change it after every day of racing it leaks like an old harly thers a hair line crack in the case but besides that seems to be pretty good oil good luck tommy
