I ride in the woods mostly, I am in New Hampshiere not known for its huge sandpits, I can't seem to decide between 20 or 22 inch tires, I run a 14T sprocket

It really depends on what u want out of them. The smaller the tire the better ur acceleration will be but with the 14t sprocket i think u should be pretty good there. I liked my 22's better for the speed. When i got 20's i didnt know that smaller tires acually slowed u down in top end but i could feel it. I just didnt know y it was doin it, and i didnt notice too much with the acceleration. I'm goin back to 22's for the next set for speed and ground clearence. I ride on alot of big rocks.

Most of the time I ride with my 22's, but there is a noticeable difference between my 22's and 20's as far as ride characteristics. Like Trickex250 said, the 20's accelerate quicker. The 20's also handle the turns better at high speeds. As for the 22's, they are much heavier than the 20's, but add a lot more ground clearance. If you run a 14 tooth, you should have no problem turning the 22's. If you are worried about getting stuck in the mud, hitting a lot of rocks with your skid plate, or getting stuck rolling over obstacles, I would highly recommend the 22's.

Good luck! :)

22's for trail riding - 18's for racing.

I prefer the 22".All i do is trail ride and it really keeps you from centering out in the ruts.If you already run the 14 th you will notice a big differance in the low end.But it will still pull good.I dropped to the 14th after switching to the 22" and it was about like the 15th with the stock tires was.
