Help with relays PLEASE

My Engine light is on continuously on my 2009 XC. I connected to BUDS as i am a dealer and it says my fan relay is shorted to ground. If i activate it on buds it comes on but changes faults to fuel pump relay shorted to ground. I have swapped relays with new ones and checked all wiring and its all good. I dont know what else to do...Please help, any ideas would be helpful....

Try and reflash your ECU or a different one...got to be something in it since it controls the signals to the relays. Sounds like a program fault loupe throwing codes to me....just a guess.

tear the harness apart, all 4 relays are fed via 1 splice ..... somewhere that wire is probably shorted
just for kicks, swap w/ headlight relay

Tryed a new ECU and problem solved, was faulty...
