oh the explorer and the sunfire are my two. along with the 400, the two sleds, and the rocket in the full shot of all of the toys. the 4 themselves are in my sig shot. lol the sunfire is my summer ride and the explorer is the winter ride and mud machine if there is an op to find some mud around after a good rain. it was actually muddy before i took that pic lol. steve

This is a custom made "by me" 1984 suzuki lt250ef quad, It was basically stock all I did was frame mods and carb mods, along with some timing, and a coil and rev box from a kawasaki sportbike, the plastic and head light also.

and a honda rebel exhaust.

I was gonna stretch the frame and put a sport bike motor in it, but I sold it before the project ever happend.

After some of my "fine tunning"...lol... that automatic 5 speed 250, was as fast as a piped, jetted, warrior 350.

I got it from a friend who pulled it out of the woods, it had been sitting in there for over 6 years on his property, NOT running and in horrible shape.

After a few trips to the junkyard and a few left over parts around the house, it had cost me less then 200 to build, and was a lil beast.

The ski's on my quad actually work pretty good. It has to be packable snow. The only problem I have now is traction for the rear wheels

just get some tall skinny tires, it will let u dig through the snow and get traction, you have to add alot of weight and wider tires to make it bite on snow and it still wont bite good. a set of 24x10s maybe or something of the sorts, u may need to drop a tooth or 2 on the front sprocket. either that or get some like 1 1/4 studs for a set of paddles u can ruin. id do like 50 in each tire, make a checkerboard on them with spikes

id get a snowmobile track and cut it to fit around the tires you have now and chain it there or something. saw something like it on youtube forget what it was called though, he had the skis ratchet strapped to the front tires and the rear was a piece of snowmobile track somehow fastened to the tire. OR you could get some bald tires and wrap the track around then run bolts through it and into the tire with nuts on the other side, need lots of tire slime. lol
