GNCC Super Senior Champ Glen Pritchard injured badly at SC

Glen "Jody" Pritchard was injured severly in a bad crash during the morning race at Big Buck, SC. He was traveling through the "mine field" as we racers call it, its a field full of cut-off stumps, and he hit a small one that was in the trail. It threw him and his quad off of the track into the brush and while trying to recover, he slammed into a large stump which sent him cartwheeling through the air. He is currently in St. Mary's Hospital in Huntingdon, W.Va. He sustained a broken collarbone, seven broken ribs and he broke his left leg in several places. Please keep Jody and his family in your prayers, he is going to have a long recovery.

Thanks for the update Ken. I knew about the collar bone but was awaiting word on the full extent of his injuries.

Seems like this is a every year issue at this track. People getting badly hurt in what many call the mine field. Seems they should re-think this track again. Hope all goes well and a speedy recovery.
