ok so i just got my CR FTZ cyl in the mail yesterday and i have no clue in hell what these sipgets are for! here are some pics
they also added an extra water coolant spiget. is there a way i can plug it or should cut it off and weld it in?

another thing is on my head they milled the out part of the dome where the gasket sits and not the spot where a piston would run higher(stroker app?) i am going to be running a +4 hot rods and im not sure if i want to run this OE CR dome or my cool dome.

also on the o-ring head gaskets can you put the o-rings in the dome and not in the cylinder? I have ran many gasket set ups and i just really like the 0-ring set up because i dont have to clean up gakets if they leave stuff left over and its really fast to take it apart and put it together, you dont have to check around and make sure you have a headgasket.

Those brass fittings are vacuum ports. Must of been running a fuel pump or something. Maybe that cylinder was once an alcoholic.:D

No idea what the extra water spigot is for.

I thought you were building a Polanda? Thats no Polaris cylinder.

I was and still am building the polanda, i just came across this cylinder and couldnt pass it up. the polanda is about to the point of running, just have a little more mill work i have to do....

I never thought you would need a vac port for a fuel pump... how should i block them off? just take like a allen hed plug and lock tight it in there or weld it? i dont really wanna weld the one on the secondary cause of the fact i would be welding on the inside of the port and i dont wanna mess the port layout up.. i could run a hose one to the other i think and rig it but i really REALLY dont wanna do that... best if i could plug them another way...

i think there hex, but it wouldnt really matter if there square, allen or hex. its just sealing them up, you will allways see it unless you weld them shut.

i wouldnt mind welding the one on the intake by the carb cause i dont think i can mess up too much by that but i dont wanna screw up the porting... :D

i would just plug it and if someone asks what those are for i would say, that is where i hook up the nos when i run it.

i would just plug them just incase you turn around and sell it, someone might know and want to use them holes.

i would say the one on the transfer port is for a fuel pump (alky) and the one on the intake? nitros is the only thing i can think of that you run after the reeds.

HAHA get like a little 5Lb. nos bottle and not use it and hook it up... that would be funny as hell! haha! i think i'll just plug them up and say i run alky or meth or something like that in them...

for the water lines iether plug the one over the exhaust port and spin the head around.

or

use the welded on one as the in and leave the head on backwards (like in pic one) and T line thouse 2 together as the out.

the reason for it is to get the coolest water to the hottest point first. which is that area right at the exhaust port. there are a few ways you can run thouse water lines and make it work well. just dont get a 'hot' line T connector to a 'cool' line

whats a hot t and a cool t?

is it possable to run a o-ring set up in the dome and not have it on the cylinder?

hot t= hot water leaving the motor

cool t= cold water coming from the radiator.

well what side for the raidator is the hot line and what is the cold? isnt the line that runs from the back of the cyl by the intake going down to the water pump the hot and then its pushed out the pump to the raidator? or is it the other way around?
