400ex chain length

im buying new x-ring chain, what size chaain should i get? im trying to figure out the stock length chain and what size chain i should get with a 14 tooth front sprocket? thanks

520x94 is the stock chain length

and will work fine with a 14 tooth sprocket and a 38 rear or larger like a 39. steve

I always buy the longer chain and cut it down, along with a few extra master links, that way I can change sprokets and chains with ease, by adding a link or taking one out.

It is completly safe to run more then 1 masterlink on a chain, I wouldnt go past 2 tho, for safety....lol.

I personally never buy the expensive o-ring or x- ring chains, in my opinion they are a waste of money, but some people love them.

and I personally love my DID xring. It has worked flawlessly for well over 2 years of 416 hp pulling on it. lol. it is preference i guess. steve
