Starting gate

Does anyone have drawings or anything on how to build a starting gate?

ok i got a question for you... are you using this gate for practice and if so how are you planning on dropping the gate and taking off at the same time...

hey i got ur message and my reply wouldnt go thru so im just gonna reply on here... well i dont have any drawing of one but if ur wanting to practice ur starts i would just paint a area big enough for your bike and just take off out of that

you would obviously have to have another person helping with the gate drops.

Not necessarily, I could easily design something that would drop the gate at a random time during a given interval.

But it would require a microprocessor control, and some air or hydraulic actuation, so it would add $100 or so to the price, but it could easily be done.

I know how a starting gate works I don't any help with that I'm just looking for a set of drawings to build one without have to design one from scratch

I can't help you with a drawing, but check out riskracing, they make personal starting gates the operate electronically, it may be what you are looking for.
