Gt thunder mx link too soft?

My friend just sent his rear shock off to gt thunder and got an mx link and he weighs 130 and it is valved for a 185 pound rider and he says it bottoms out way too much, would it help it if he put the stock link back on it? Or any ideas on how to make it harder bedises sending it off? Thanks

i had one on my bike and didnt like it at all, it blew through the last bit of travel and made it feel harsh...also in my experience the owner is a jerk. stock is the way to go, that is what team yosh uses

Thanks for the advice and after one race it cracked the link and tore the bushing apart, I have also had problems with them about ordering parts.
