Hey everybody,
I'm going to LasVegas in April with my family to visit with my Mother in Law. I am excited about it and I would like to hear from any of you guys who live out there. I'd like to plan some things to do. I definately want to check out the motor speedway. I would also like to rent some quads if possible. Does anybody know of a place to do this? I want to ride with my boys too so does anybody know how old you have to be? They're 9 and 11. I would also like to go to QuadCentral 2 and meet Steve Abbot. I've talked with him on the phone a couple of times and he seems pretty crazy/fun. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Quadfamily , I think your going to find out why they call it Sin City. I have some friends that go every year , year after year. They will tell you they some of best looking women in the US there :D Just check out the yellow pages under escourt services they say its a phone book in its self  On a more serious note Hoover Dam should be nice for the kids and lake Meed they have bus trips to them for not to much. Also one of places puts on a water light show at night thats something to see. The one guy I work with says there lots for the kids just pick up one the of papers they will have lots of adds with things to do.

The most fun you can have in Vegas is a day long chopper ride over the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, with lunch at the bottom of the Canyon. Very expensive but worth every penny. Be carefull of the cheaper services. The best company is the one out by the Air Port that does not use the cheaper Bell choppers. They have ex military pilots on duty and will give you a ride that will scare your pants off.

They have this hipnotism show that if you go to the late show (after midnight) borderlines NC-17 to X. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life - my stomach was sore the next day. Bellagio & Ceaser's are my fav joints. The kids would like Excaliber - they have a neat dinner/show with jousting and sword fighting etc.

We will be there from the 17th to the 25th of April. Oh, I wasn't going to try and hang out with Steve or anything, I just wanted to check out his shop and say HI. I'm not a gambler and I'll be with my family and I won't be checking out any of the hookers either! I wouldn't mind getting a massage though. (a legitimate one) Anybody know of the best place for that? I will be going to a gym regularly there because my inlaws are going to sign us up where they go for the time were there which means.......... We will be hitting the buffets! LOL The hoover dam and grand canyon and helicopter rides sound like great ideas. Or should I say (like the rugrats so my daughter can relate), the Gram Canyon and Slots Vegas? Keep the info coming guys. Thanks alot!

ahh vegas, my second home. While you're down there i would check out FLYAWAY INDOOR SKYDIVING. It should be a good thrill for the whole family. Hope you have a good time, just don't let you're kids get a hold of the free porn on the sidewalks.

those ppl just piss me off:mad: they will try to stick that $h!t in your hand even if you and your significat other are carring a washer and dryer. the bad thing is, those co. have been hiring mentally handicapped ppl to had out the flyers.:( anyway, the thing about steve, ive tried to just chat for 2-3 min with him and wasnt so successful, but he always has several hi-proformance 250Rs and big eng banshees in there, quite a sight to see. tires stacked to the cealing, so many quads you cant harldly walk around, and there are a lot ouside too! if you have time while your out at the track, stop by the Shelby shop where they build the cobras. like somone said before, the kids would like the Excaliber show, but its really pricey, about like everything else. the lion cage in the MGM for the kids also. you can drive to the damn dam,(about 45 min. drive) park your car in the damn parking lot, and take the damn dam tour, that winds down and trough the damn dam. almost all of the buffets have all you can eat crab legs, lobster tail, prime rib cut as thick as you want and deserts galore, good thing you are going to the gym. getting kinda long ill stop now.

another kid place is the back of circus circus, the adventure dome. adventure dome is circus and carnival combined, with a roller coaster, and the average circus and carnival vendors. prizes are fairly easy to win.

about the quad rentals, i called quad central and found they do rent quads, right now they have for rent a 400, 300, 250R, and a banshee. price was $150/day and you need to call around a week in advance to be sure of the avalibility of the quads. the # is (702) 222-3586.

Thanks alot, I was wanting to go to the Shelby place because I'm a big ford nut but I forgot to mention it here. It's got like a museum there too right? Indoor skydiving sounds like a thrill! I e-mailed the speedway because they didn't have their April schedule on their website yet. They e-mailed me back today and said that the track had nothing scheduled for that week because it is Easter week. What a bummer! Do you think all the other stuff at the track will be open, like the quad shop and the Shelby place?? If not I'm gonna be really pissed! Keep the ideas coming, they're great! Oh yeah, how about the massage, anybody know where to go for that?

Need some information. My wife found this hotel that sounds really nice in the ad, but you know how ads are! Anyway, the hotel/casino name is Boardwalk Hotel Casino and it's on Las Vegas Blvd South near the Balagio (sp?). The price is only $435 for the whole week. Does anybody have any opinions on this place? Thanks much!

Quadfamily, My wife and I go to Vegas about 4 times a year to gamble and get away from work. The Boardwalk is not very nice. It isn't a huge casino or anything. It is known for its cheap tables. I personally wouldn't stat there. I have stayed at the majority of casinos down there and I think the nicest is the Aladdin. It has really nice rooms and if you get a view of the strip from your room you can watch the Bellagio Fountains which is really cool. We like to stay where the younger crowds hang out. We are both 28 and think that the NYNY is a pretty cool place. Be sure to check out the Dueling Piano's in the New York New York in the evening one night. It is a pretty enjoyable show (free)

If you don't gamble I suggest going to see the Blue Man Group show at the Luxor, pretty funny and great for kids!

Have fun man, I am jealous.
