well i'm finally building my dream bike. it's an 01 cr250r. it's gunna rep the Monster brand. tooo many mods to list but ill show you a few.

I love those early cr250s like the 01 and 02. Strong and smooth power. Yours is gonna look sick with those graphics and rims.

if the porting is done well it make smooth out the power and build it up faster.

dang kxrida. one good looking bike. i hope the power is a little smoother as i came from a 400ex to this and its just flat out scary lol.

i went from a warrior to a banshee to a 400ex to a 250r.lol

wish i would of got the 250r in the first place.:(

but i used to cruise around on my friends yz250 and that thing was just crazy fast. it would pull wheelies going 40+ mph.

I just sold my 1997 cr250 yesterday which was basically the same thing. It was scary.

sending motor out to max power for 265 big bore, port, and set up to run on alcohol or vp110, undecided.

sure asv bend forward but not up and down...might just give sunline a try cause these levers are not cheap! like my anti freeplay device on it lol

I believe asv carries a warranty on them for so long. Call them and see about a replacement lever. Bike is coming along nice. If you're running alcohol better change all the tubing on your carb and possibly your reeds. Not to mention you'll probably need some carb work for alcohol. Having a bike that runs on race fuel is fun and all, but not practical for me any more unless I have two bikes, which I don't at the time.
