Fried another one:p

It takes 3 days to get this new stuff dialed in:ermm: I dont do jack on the pc besides photo work and the website but it seems to take forever to get the stuff reloaded.

Hows this image look to yall. Terrible time calibrating the monitor....looks good on this end.

first picture is a little fuzzy/light. Kinda like the brightness is too high. You may have edited the levels which did that though.

Second looks great. And I am surprised that you still dont have that monitor yet. I nice screen is always a really good thing.

x2 on the first being a tad fuzzy and the second being perfect on mine. they both look really nice though as always. steve

Thats kind of what I thought, it actually looks a bit better on the hosting site but a bit soft and washed out once posted.

Let me try to edit it real quick

yup it is better than the first. the back guy is a bit too bright though i think. but that is just me maybe. steve

Pappy

The softness is from not having all my stuff programed in the computer yet. When you resize these large files, it crunches the pixels.

id reload photoshop but the new c5 version is due out in afew days so ill wait on it:p

nice i wish i had ps. that would be really nice to have to edit photos instead of office picture manager. it really does a poor job when compressing them. image shack did a nice job the photos i just posted though i think, they are not blurry or anything. those are straight off of my xti with a stock 18-55 lens. the two machines are on time value and the one of me is on auto taken by my gf. i like to choose my time setting for light purposes. I think that the machines were somewhere around 130-150 on 200 for outside. nothing on the arp value just zero. I bet they would be even better with a bit of magic on ps. steve

The first one actually looks better to me.. The second one is not as crisp with the colors or edges IMO.. Both still look nice thowe..

On a side note when I first seen this title I thought you were testing out a new color of Powder Coat.. LMAO

I enjoy dual monitoring with my 120 hz 42" LCD visio. i have been doing some work with both to do my second term paper. It really works nice to have the big screen for the IE and then type with the laptop on my lap typing. really makes for a nice grin to use my tv for something cool. youre right we def get spoiled having the big monitors. lol. steve

I had to relearn how to manually handle the compression from the resize as well LOL

looks great, the tires are much better, along with the helmet and such. no more blur for fuzz at all on them. steve

Pappy
04-08-2010, 10:12 PM
Only change was how I handled the resize.

honda400ex2003
04-08-2010, 10:18 PM
it makes a difference when they go. sometimes mine are just terrible quality when they get compressed down. the ones on imageshack come out good though. steve

Pappy
04-08-2010, 10:31 PM
Thats why you learn how to not compress them when resizing lol. usually i do batch work from races, been awhile since i did an individual shot ..also helps to have the software to do it . Ill deal with installing PS and upgrading to the new version when I get back from the national LOL

I did not realize how bad that monitor was until now LOL. Even calibrated it was never this good. It helps when your making fine adjustments. I can see color shifts that I cant on my laptop or an uncalibrated monitor

WOW i wish i had skills and equipment like you do pap. you always turn out great shots. i wish i had some really nice lenses for my xti. I could start to take better shots with it. the ones in my post are about as good as they get without editing them. they arent blurry but could be better. I dont do anything with my pics though. lol I have taken thousands of shots and just delete the ones i dont like and keep the ones i do on a hard drive. lol. I turned over the 10000 number system on my xti last weekend taking some shots of me jumping. lol steve

these were on auto again from my gf at the same time as the close up of me sitting on my 400. No editing or anything straight from the camera and compressed with imageshack before posting them. What do you think? steve

heres my shots after hitting the auto correct on office. the jump and the corners started to get a bit blurry when i cropped them down a bit to get them closer. I wish i had a 150mm that would have much better to get in close. I am assuming she was not zoomed in at all. lol.
