Houser Steering stem real tight?????

Just put in a new Houser stem,,,if you tighten the bolts down on the top bearring at all, and tighten the bottom nut up at all, it takes 2 hands to turn the dang thing. I am doing something wrong or is there some problem others have experienced?

i had the same problem i had to loosen the bottom the bolt a little and it made it alot easier. the bolt was still tight it just couldnt be tightened down tight tight

has anyone had to sand down the inside of the bearring any?
