Clutch question?

The clutch is slowly starting to slip on my 400ex. I have some spare fibers and plates for my 05 crf250r bike and i was wondering if they would work/fit into the basket on the 400ex. Just thought I'd ask if anyone knew before i bought a whole new clutch.

the best way for you to tell would be to pull out the clutch plates of your 400ex and compare. the clutch is gonna have to come out for you to replace it either way

yea I know its gonna have to come out, I just didn't want to pull it out for no reason if the stuff from the bike doesn't work. I would rather leave it in and ride it a couple more times until the new clutch got here instead of pulling it now and being screwed if it didn't work. I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me if it would work
