2005 head on a 2000

[underpowered]

just wondering if a head off of a 2005 400ex will work on my 2000 400ex?

i assume it would, but just want to make sure before i spend the money on one.

well, i am pretty sure as well. but i do know top end gasket sets have different Part Numbers, so that makes me wonder.

i used to have a cross reference program, but no longer work at the cycle shop so i can;t access it. it would tell me for sure if they would fit.
