For me, it would be. Mine barely hits 160 deg.

I 200 210 when running hard on the dunes.
I haven't had a problem but I don't like it that high.
Been running that for 5 years or so.

This year I put in an afco.
Just piece of mind.

Mine ran like that when I first got it together. Turns out I had an air leak. You might want to check that first.

no air leaks, done plug chops. running 110 gas. i do have 235 lbs of compression.

The hottest mine has got was 225, but that was on a sand track that was all deep whoops so it was really workin it...

Try engine ice or water wetter and see if it goes down a bit. I know afco rads are expensive but it has proven its worthiness since I ride between 160-180 all day long on both the desert and dunes at mostly wide open throttle.

I will start with engine ice.. I am at 200 when I am really ripping, and 215 when I am just playing around, IM going to do more needle chops and see if making the needle a bit more rich helps.
